McClintock Contracting Ltd provides a complete combine harvesting service backed by experienced operators, modern machinery and the flexibility to work across a range of Southland conditions.
At the heart of our harvesting operation is a CLAAS LEXION 750 TERRA TRAC combine, providing high harvesting capacity while keeping ground pressure and compaction in mind. The TERRA TRAC system is particularly well suited to softer and wetter ground conditions, helping us keep moving when conditions become challenging.
Our combine runs a 7.5m front, giving us the ability to follow ground contours and work effectively through gullies and rolling or hilly country. The combination of the narrower front and TERRA TRAC system gives us a versatile harvesting setup for the varied terrain and conditions found across Southland.
We have both tractor and trailer combinations and trucks available for grain cartage. This allows us to match the transport setup to paddock conditions, access and cartage distance — using lower-impact options when conditions are soft and trucks for efficient longer-distance transport when conditions allow.
Our capability extends well beyond the combine. We can provide a complete cropping service, including cultivation, drilling, spraying, fertiliser spreading, combine harvesting and grain cartage.
Once the crop is harvested, we can also return to cultivate and re-establish the paddock, giving customers the option of working with one team throughout the entire cropping cycle.
Whether you need us for the harvest alone or the complete programme, we can tailor our service to suit your farming operation.
Our CLAAS LEXION 750 TERRA TRAC provides excellent flotation and reduced ground pressure, helping us operate effectively in softer and wetter paddock conditions.
Our 7.5m front follows ground contours well, giving us greater flexibility through gullies, rolling country and hilly paddocks.
From combine harvesting through to grain cartage, we have tractor and trailer combinations and trucks available to match paddock conditions, access and transport distance.
From cultivation and drilling through to spraying, fertiliser spreading, harvesting, grain cartage and re-establishment, we can manage every stage of your cropping programme.
